Prayer of St. Francis, Revised
Architect, make me an instrument of our peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, healing,
Where there is faith, doubt,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is ignorance, knowledge
Where there is sadness, joy.
Oh Divine Being, may I both seek
To console, as well as to be consoled
To understand, as well as to be understood,
To love, as well as to be loved.
For, it is in both giving and receiving that we gain,
It is in accepting as well being accepted that we heal,
And it is in living that we create a better life.
