JavaScript
I have recently cleaned out my
programming pages and kept only the scripts that people might find useful,
instructive, or amusing.
Here are some javascript web sites
pulled off my former web links pages:
- irt.org
maintained by Martin Webb. Originally devoted to JavaScript, this site now
has a wealth of other resources.
- WebReference's
Doc JavaScript (http://www.webreference.com/js/) Very clear descriptions
of some commonly used JavaScript features and info about JS 1.2 for
4th-generation browsers.
- Netscape's
JavaScript Authoring Guide (http://devedge.netscape.com)
This is the stuff straight from the horse's mouth.
- Javascript
1.2 Netscape's supplement of additions to the JavaScript language for
Communicator 4.0. Stuff like layers and style sheet properties.
Javascript for the HTML 4.0 standard.
- HotSyte
Javascript Information Jerry Bradenbaugh's JavaScript information site
on which I found the answer to a question I posted at Message Base Central
that never got answered
Java
For the more adventurous. Java is not
Javascript.
- Java
Lecture Notes (http://sunsite.unc.edu/javafaq/course/index.html) An
extensive Java tutorial by an early practioner of the language. The Java FAQ
is also an excellent broad resource.
