Some essays I wrote

I am a failed Ph.D. of Literature (and proud of it).  By "failed" I mean that I gave up on the worthless degree, not that I can't write.  While working as an editor and as manager of an art gallery, I wrote art reviews for publications like Artweek, Artpapers, and Art Issues.

Some books I copyedited

I used to edit full-time for the Newport Harbor Art Museum (now the Orange County Museum of Art) and freelance for the University of California Press, and other universities and museums.  I currently oversee the production of software manuals at the software company for which I work.

Some music I composed

I play classical and other guitar and write some music of my own.  Here are a couple pieces and some information about musicians I enjoy.
You can catch me most Fridays at the UnUrban Coffee House open mike.

Some software I programmed

In order to make a respectable adult living, I had to teach myself programming and I work for a software company.  I currently program InstallShield MSI installers and various flavors of Visual Basic (VBScript, VBA, VB) but have also done significant web programming.
