Links
My links are divided into four categories.
The idea here is to collect links that will be useful for
writers and free-lance editors (publishers already have most of the information they need
at their fingertips). At the moment, the links consist primarily of directories of
publishers. Rather than list each and every publisher, I have sought out sites that
already collect these links. I am also surfing for other resources for editors and
writers. AuthorLink! is one good example. It is an agenting site that represents
manuscripts to publishers and offers advice to authors about how to represent themselves
to publishers. Expect further listings here.
I have consolidated my art links and thinned out the list
that I brought with me from FIG Gallery. The current list represents my own choices rather
than the "comprehensive" listing that I was once attempting to build.
I would like to share with you some of the resources I found
that helped me learn Web design. Also located on this page are some search-engine
cut-and-paste jumping-off forms so that you can use a search engine, if you want, without
having to surf to it.
Politics
I have been planning on building the page forever and just
recently got to it. You will find links to various democratic socialist and related
sites. In Europe such a political orientation would probably be considered an
eminent sight of reason, but here in the U.S., where the only social values seem to be
SELF and greed, masquerading as "individual innitiative," I realize that I am in
a minority (but one that will grow).
